For our Young Adults:

Young Adult Services for those in the Red Rose High School include assistance in researching your end-of-semester reports, science fair projects, and in how to use online databases here in the Library.

The Children’s Room - for our even younger adults:

Our Children’s Room is open every Monday-Wednesday-Friday 10:00am – 12:00noon for Mommy and Me reading programs. Tuesdays we have our invited reader session for kindergarten through second grade from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Thursdays all children are invited to come in for Computer and Internet instruction from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Visit our NEW! Children’s Videos section in the Children’s Room (next to the audio tapes section) on Fridays after 3:30pm and borrow a video for the weekend.

Special Events

Sign up now! for our annual trip to the American Museum of Natural History and the Hayden Planetarium. The bus to New York City will be leaving on Sunday January 14, 2007 at 6:00am. The cost is $50 which includes travel costs, snacks on the bus, lunch at the Museum, and a souvenir. Be sure to make your reservation early as this is a fast sell out! This year we are fortunate to again have the cost of the bus trip sponsored by the Friends of the Rose Library Cultural Committee.
